About

I’m Dr Abdoul Aziz Dieng, a professional French/Fula/Wolof Interpreter. I have a background in linguistics and extensive experience working in legal, academic, and public-sector contexts.

I specialise in court, medical, conference, and institutional interpreting, delivering communication that is precise, culturally grounded, and reliable under pressure. My work regularly supports courts, researchers, public bodies, and international organisations in the UK and Africa.

Alongside interpreting, I also provide certified-style translation and academic editing for complex texts such as contracts, journal articles, theses, policy documents, and institutional reports, ensuring terminological accuracy and publication-ready clarity.

I am registered with the National Register of Public Service Interpreters (NRPSI) for Wolof and Fula, and I am a Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (MCIL) . I am also an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA).
